Description

Own the reliability, availability, and operational stability of critical financial and ERP systems in a 24x7 environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage major incidents (P1/P2), drive resolution, and ensure SLA/SLO compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for operational issues.
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards, proactive alerting, and system observability.
• Diagnose and resolve application and data issues using SQL queries and log analysis.
• Support release deployments, change validation, and disaster recovery testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Application Support.
• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, VPC) and cloud-based enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, SQR, and Basic Java for backend validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework for incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Jira for ticketing and tracking.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Background in BFSI or large-scale enterprise application environments.
