Description

You will maintain and scale production and development environments with a focus on high availability and security.

Responsibilities

• Build highly available solutions across the entire SDLC stack for an internet-facing fintech site.
• Design and operate Kubernetes environments for container management and orchestration.
• Develop software and tooling to automate cloud infrastructure and software delivery workflows.
• Develop and maintain tools for MacOS and Linux environments to improve developer productivity.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support system stability and build automation tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of DevOps, TechOps, or SRE experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with microservices using Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Strong Linux OS-level knowledge, command-line proficiency, and scripting skills.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
• Experience architecting and managing monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, NewRelic, or ELK.
• Proficiency in computer provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with distributed systems design and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Ability to design and implement automated, complex infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Coding experience in Python, Ruby, or Java with a focus on maintainable code.
• AWS certifications.
