Description

Build and manage AWS GovCloud foundations, secure landing zones, and account provisioning automation for FedRAMP-aligned infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop account provisioning automation, governance policies, and reusable Terraform modules.
• Implement cloud guardrails, IAM standards, and compliance automation for regulated environments.
• Support cloud operations, incident response, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain strong documentation and provide production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP High, or DoD IL5.
• Strong proficiency with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, and multi-account environments.
• Experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Proficiency in automation using Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, CloudFormation, and IAM Identity Center.
• Background in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and landing zone implementations.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
