Description

Own the reliability, availability, and performance of the IFIaaS SaaS platform across distributed on-prem environments. You will manage platform uptime, environment operations, and incident response while driving automation and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own SLOs/SLIs for availability (99.9%), latency, error rates, and quality of service across microservices.
• Design and operate end-to-end observability using metrics, logs, traces, and synthetic checks to instrument Windows services and APIs.
• Lead incident response, conduct blameless postmortems, and implement MTTA/MTTR reduction programs.
• Optimize resource allocation on VMware and Windows VMs, including performance profiling and auto-scaling strategies.
• Automate provisioning and configuration drift detection using Infrastructure as Code to reduce toil.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise with monitoring and alerting tools: Splunk, Prometheus, and Datadog.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, including kernel tuning, TCP stack, and PowerShell DSC.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and orchestration: VMware, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Proven ability to manage on-call rotations, runbooks, and incident coordination in a 24/7 environment.
• Experience implementing compliance controls for PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Ability to forecast compute/storage needs and manage patching cadences aligned with error budgets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing failover strategies for asymmetric data center environments.
• Background in validating scaling strategies (horizontal vs. vertical) and implementing resilience guardrails.
