Description

Own infrastructure reliability, automation, and incident response for high-availability systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale infrastructure to ensure system reliability within Agile environments.
• Automate manual tasks to increase efficiency and minimize human error.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes; drive rapid resolutions.
• Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior SRE role.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems and BASH scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including GKE on-prem and Portworx for storage.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with at least two functional languages (Rust, Erlang, Haskell, OCaml, or Prolog).
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform.
• Knowledge of Istio and Anthos Service Mesh.
• Experience with load balancers and reverse proxies including Nginx Controller and Seesaw.
• Monitoring and logging expertise with Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, or Kiali.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with eBPF (Extended Berkeley Packet Filter).
• Experience with Confluent resources, Kafka Stream Generator, KSQLDB, and Spark Streams.
• Kubernetes and GCP certifications.
