Description

Manage and scale reliable infrastructure within AWS environments while driving automation to reduce operational toil.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure including Postgres, Redis, Docker, Kinesis Streams, and S3.
• Develop Python or shell scripts to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated builds and deployments.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability systems using logs and APM tools.
• Define SLIs and measure SLOs to ensure system reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in engineering development or DevOps/SRE roles.
• 3+ years of experience deploying and managing systems on Amazon Web Services.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking including VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, and NAT gateways.
• Proficiency with IAM policies, DNS, Route53, and domain management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Strong Python or shell scripting skills for automation.
• Knowledge of AWS services including SQS, SNS, RDS, and IAM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying applications on ECS, Fargate, or serverless architectures using Lambda and API Gateway.
• Experience with application languages including JavaScript, Ruby, Go, or Python.
