You will maintain and improve platform health within a 12/7 support organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Improve platform health and resiliency by collaborating with Security, Networking, and Infrastructure teams.
• Automate processes and testing to reduce manual intervention.
• Build dashboards and configure alerts using APM tools to monitor distributed systems.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and proactive areas for system improvement.
• Manage distributed storage and dynamic resource management frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Software Engineering or Production Support/SRE experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE (Spring, Spring Boot) and Python.
• Experience with Shell Scripting and Ansible using YAML.
• Hands-on work with Kafka, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Expertise with APM tools including Splunk, GCL, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, relational databases, and NoSQL.
• Experience with caching tools like Redis or memcache and messaging tools like MQ.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, PCF, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or UCD for CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
