Description

You will own the reliability, availability, and scalability of critical cloud-native infrastructure platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define SLOs/SLIs, manage error budgets, and drive operational best practices to improve service reliability.
• Design and maintain observability stacks (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting) to reduce MTTR and enable proactive detection.
• Lead incident response, including on-call management, runbook creation, post-incident reviews, and preventative actions.
• Build and standardize Infrastructure as Code modules and CI/CD pipelines for automated, auditable deployments.
• Define RTO/RPO targets, design BCP/DR architectures, and execute structured disaster recovery tests.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering supporting production environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience building and operating production systems.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/OpenSearch.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design, deployment strategies, and automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) and auto-scaling container platforms.
• Solid Linux fundamentals, networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing), and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, Bash).

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write clear operational documentation, runbooks, and post-incident reports.
• Experience with cloud governance best practices including tagging, landing zones, and least privilege.
