Description

Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts for iOS mobile applications using industry-standard tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and volume tests for mobile applications and backend services.
• Analyze application, device, network, API, and backend performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.
• Define performance testing strategies, establish baselines, and validate performance across iOS devices and OS versions.
• Partner with development teams and architects to understand requirements and define SLAs, SLOs, and performance KPIs.
• Develop performance dashboards, automated reporting mechanisms, and support production performance monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with Load Runner and XCUITest (Apple's native UI test automation framework).
• Strong understanding of iOS mobile application architecture and performance characteristics.
• Proficiency in defining and documenting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Experience with API performance testing and backend service validation.
• Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps practices, and Agile release lifecycles.
• Ability to present test results, findings, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated performance testing solutions and continuous integration pipelines.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis for production performance issues.
