Description

You will maintain and scale multi-tier applications while implementing observability strategies to improve MTTD and MTTR. You will manage deployments through Tekton pipelines and GitHub, develop microservices platforms, and educate teams on SRE principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement observability strategies to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
• Manage deployments using Tekton pipelines and GitHub YAML files.
• Develop and maintain multi-tier applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Manage microservices platforms and RESTful APIs.
• Educate teams on core SRE principles and software development best practices.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Java/Scala, C, or C++.
• 3-5 years of experience with APM and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Sensu, Nagios, Kafka, or DataDog).
• 3-5 years of experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, NoSQL/SQL datastores, and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, internet routing, and load balancing.
• Practical experience with Agile programming methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing infrastructure through GitHub and YAML.
