Description

Manage reliability, observability, and deployment pipelines for multi-tier applications in Google Cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement observability strategies to improve MTTD and MTTR.
• Manage deployments using Tekton Pipelines and GitHub via YAML files.
• Develop and maintain multi-tier applications using microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Manage infrastructure and services within Google Cloud.
• Educate teams on core Site Reliability Engineering principles.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Java/Scala, C, or C++.
• 3-5 years of experience with APM and monitoring tools including Dynatrace, New Relic, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Sensu, Nagios, Kafka, or DataDog.
• 3-5 years of experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, and NoSQL/SQL datastores.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure and Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud and its library of services.
• Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, internet routing, and load balancing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and DataDog.
