Description

You will provide operational expertise within the SRE team to support the transition of services to the cloud and ensure rapid release cycles through CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and support delivery pipelines for cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Ensure full coverage of live environments through monitoring, performance, and availability tracking.
• Own the continuous integration and delivery toolsets, processes, and platforms.
• Mentor team members and constructively challenge service design and implementations.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation every few weeks and assist with routine system maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
• Experience designing and deploying in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Kanban or Scrum.
• Familiarity with JIRA for project tracking.
• Ability to provide direction for database queries and indexes to ensure efficiency.
• Experience working independently within cross-functional, multi-locational teams.
• Degree in IT, IS, CS, or equivalent professional work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Linux administration proficiency (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Configuration management experience with Ansible or SaltStack.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
