Description

You will design and develop large-scale applications within the Wealth Management IT team. You own the full development lifecycle, from refining user requirements to ensuring system stability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale applications using Smalltalk.
• Refine user requirements through test-driven development (TDD) by interacting with stakeholders.
• Analyze root causes of incidents and implement technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and mentor colleagues through knowledge sharing.
• Promote system stability by implementing best practices within the development environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with Smalltalk as a primary skill.
• Knowledge of recent Cincom ObjectStudio and VisualWorks system hierarchy.
• Experience with system migration processes.
• Proficiency in programming with C, C++, or Python.
• Strong Object-Oriented programming experience.
• Experience with SQL Database Management.
• Hands-on experience using software source control and bug-tracking tools.
• Understanding of distributed systems.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS Azure cloud environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
