Description

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical models within a Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, or Coalesce.
• Write and optimize SQL queries within dbt for efficient data transformation.
• Migrate data from MSSQL to Snowflake using Coalesce or similar transformation tools.
• Implement data models in dbt to transform raw data into analytical-ready datasets.
• Automate pipelines and develop unit tests to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
• Proven experience with Snowflake and Snowflake SQL.
• Expertise in dbt, including model development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt, Coalesce, or Hevo Data.
• Strong SQL programming skills in both T-SQL and Snowflake SQL.
• Practical knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience using version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with data quality, cleansing, and validation techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or Luigi.
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
