Description

Design and optimize scalable data solutions within a Snowflake Data Lakehouse environment, supporting batch and near real-time streaming workloads.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks for structured, semi-structured, and telemetry data sources.
• Implement Medallion Architecture layers (Raw, Silver, Curated) to create trusted datasets for AI and ML consumption.
• Partner with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to define schemas and support semantic data layer development.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across the platform while driving new capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Deep expertise with Snowflake as a Data Lakehouse platform.
• Strong proficiency in handling JSON and semi-structured data.
• Experience building pipelines for Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning platforms.
• Ability to work effectively with ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture principles.
• Experience with high-frequency streaming data sources.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with telemetry data ingestion and processing.
• Background in data architecture decisions and platform standards.
