Description

You will design and build scalable data warehousing solutions and Python-based systems on Azure, owning the architecture from scratch.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement sophisticated data systems, data models, and APIs from the ground up.
• Build and optimize big data pipelines, datasets, and architectures using Python and SQL.
• Manage Snowflake or Redshift data warehousing environments, ensuring high-performance query authoring.
• Apply data mining and segmentation techniques to unstructured datasets for analytical insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver robust technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience as a senior software or data engineer.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with data warehousing (Snowflake or Redshift).
• 10+ years of advanced SQL database design and relational database management.
• 7+ years of extensive development experience with Python.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud technology, preferably Azure.
• Strong expertise in API design and development.
• Experience with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Financial Services or Capital Markets domain experience.
