Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of Snowflake environments across Azure and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance, including backups and archiving.
• Optimize performance through query tuning, workload management, and storage optimization to resolve bottlenecks.
• Execute ETL activities and design data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and AWS Glue.
• Maintain cloud resources such as virtual networks, storage accounts, and compute resources on Azure and AWS.
• Implement security best practices, including user roles, encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake design, implementation, and management.
• Proven experience as a Snowflake Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services, including storage and virtual networks.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and AWS Glue.
• Expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.
• Experience implementing data security, compliance, and governance protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
