You will design and optimize Snowflake data platforms, ensuring scalable analytics and strict compliance for Life Sciences data.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models, semantic layers, and Materialized Views to support complex downstream reporting.
• Write optimized SQL, stored procedures, and UDFs, leveraging Snowpark (Python/Scala) for advanced transformations.
• Tune query performance, manage Virtual Warehouse sizing, and implement caching strategies for cost efficiency.
• Build data pipelines using Informatica (IICS) and AWS, handling semi-structured data formats like JSON and Parquet.
• Enforce data security models including RBAC, Row-Level Security, and Dynamic Data Masking for HIPAA/GxP compliance.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of IT experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience.
• Expert-level ANSI SQL and Snowflake-specific SQL extensions.
• Strong Python programming skills, specifically for Snowpark.
• Experience with cloud integration tools (IICS preferred) and AWS services (S3, EC2, IAM).
• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification is required.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer certification.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries with GxP validation knowledge.
