Description

You will own complex data engineering initiatives from conception through production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-performance ETL frameworks using Snowflake and Python.
• Leverage advanced Snowflake features like Snowpark, Snowpipe, streams, and tasks for data processing.
• Establish patterns and standards for scalability, reliability, and maintainability across the team.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Participate in rotational production support to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline issues.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in data engineering, with 3+ years focused on Snowflake and Python ETL.
• Expert proficiency in Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Snowpark, streams, tasks, dynamic tables, and performance tuning.
• Advanced Python programming skills for building production-grade ETL frameworks and reusable libraries.
• Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale ETL pipelines processing terabytes of data.
• Deep expertise in SQL optimization, complex window functions, and execution plan analysis.
• Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling methodologies (Dimensional, Data Vault, Star/Snowflake).
