Description

Lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes within the Snowflake ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data transformations using Snowpark and Python.
• Develop ETL processes utilizing Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe.
• Implement data governance via Secure Data Sharing, Row-Level Security, and Dynamic Data Masking.
• Optimize performance through materialized views, automatic clustering, search optimization, and Query Profile analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expertise in Snowflake SQL and data modeling using Star or Snowflake schemas.
• Hands-on experience with Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, and Secure Data Sharing.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Practical knowledge of ETL, Git, CI/CD, and orchestration tools like Airflow or DBT.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certification, such as SnowPro Core or Advanced.
