Description

You will own the architecture, design, implementation, and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build EL pipelines into and out of the data warehouse using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL.
• Develop scripts in UNIX and Python to perform Extract, Load, and Transform data operations.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation design and development strategies and code.
• Provide production support for Data Warehouse issues, including data load and transformation problems.
• Establish and monitor Operational Level Agreements for warehouse health, performance, and cost.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts (OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, Data modeling).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items related to Snowflake.
• Proficiency in developing data ingestion pipelines using Python and Databricks.
• Experience writing and debugging scripts in UNIX and Python.
• Ability to perform code reviews ensuring adherence to standards and optimal execution.
