Description

You will develop, integrate, and troubleshoot software solutions for test, production, and hardware-in-the-loop environments. This role blends software development with system integration and hands-on work with electronic test instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate applications using C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
• Use IDEs and debugging tools to troubleshoot and validate software implementations.
• Support software-driven testing of electronic or hardware systems.
• Work hands-on with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Windows environments.
• Strong debugging and validation skills using integrated development environments.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (Waterfall and Agile).
• Experience with software configuration management tools like Azure DevOps Server or GitHub.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of computer architecture and hardware optimization.
• Experience developing software drivers for hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422).
