Description

Lead development and delivery of high-performance features for the Android mobile application.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality features and platform improvements for Android users.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Enforce best engineering practices and testing infrastructure to drive technical excellence.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate large-scale distributed production systems globally.
• Analyze and optimize application code and APIs for efficiency and performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, or Java.
• Deep understanding of Android framework components and lifecycle management.
• Solid foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with mobile test-driven development using Espresso, Robolectric, or Appium.
• Knowledge of design patterns, code structure, and CI/CD architecture.
• Proven experience shipping an app to the Google Play Store.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing mobile frameworks or SDKs for Identity, Payments, or Analytics.
• Knowledge of web technologies including Nodejs, JSON, Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.
