Description

You will spearhead the design and implementation of innovative backup and restore features for large-scale services.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end software development focusing on quality, scalability, and performance.
• Design and review low and high-level system designs, including code reviews.
• Lead technical Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and transition ideas into production features across major public clouds.
• Ensure features meet operational excellence standards, emphasizing observability and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong experience with Python or willingness to adopt Python.
• Expertise in designing reliable, scalable products with observability practices.
• Skilled in adopting an API-first approach.
• Familiarity with public clouds and cloud-native solution deployment.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Linux systems.
• Familiarity with application and cloud security principles.
