Description

You will design and implement backup and restore features for large-scale services while leading technical decisions and mentoring engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end software development with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance.
• Design and review high-level and low-level system architectures, including comprehensive code reviews.
• Lead technical Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and transition ideas into production features across major public clouds.
• Ensure operational excellence by emphasizing observability and reliability in all delivered features.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Expertise in designing reliable, scalable products with robust observability practices.
• Proficiency in Python or a strong willingness to adopt it.
• Skilled in adopting an API-first approach to system design.
• Familiarity with public clouds and cloud-native solution deployment.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Linux systems and application/cloud security principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HANA, Sybase ASE, or MSSQL databases.
