Description

You will own the architectural design and technical implementation for multiple products within a microservices-based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Produce conceptual design documents, including high-level design flows, sequence diagrams, interface diagrams, and API specifications.
• Build proof-of-concept code and snippets to demonstrate new technology features to implementation teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and testers to establish development patterns, unit testing practices, and automated testing frameworks.
• Mentor software engineers and participate in strategic decision-making that impacts multiple platforms and components.
• Define and evangelize best practices for maintainability, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Extensive experience with Java and the Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in React and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments and GitOps workflows.
• Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with API gateway products such as Apigee or Kong.
• Proven ability to design asynchronous event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in n-tier technical architectures for high-performance, highly available deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular.
