Description

Lead the redesign and development of a web-based federal critical case management system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, implement, and document software components within a service-oriented environment.
• Develop new features and generic frameworks for existing services.
• Collaborate with testers to ensure test coverage, mitigate risks, and resolve defects.
• Provide technical documentation and recommendations regarding system risks, requirements, and design plans.
• Estimate timelines and schedules for task completion.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of web application development using JEE and Spring.
• 3+ years of Spring framework experience (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC/Spring Data JPA, Spring Batch).
• Experience with Hibernate and REST API development using Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of RDBMS experience with deep understanding of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Front-end experience with AngularJS, jQuery, Ext JS, or ReactJS.
• Experience with Spring Cloud, Microservices, or Elastic Search.
• Familiarity with code coverage and build tools such as JaCoCo, SonarQube, Maven, or Jenkins.
