Description

You will design, test, implement, and deploy Java and JavaScript web applications for public health data processing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy web applications to collect, process, and report public health data.
• Update disease supplemental forms with new surveillance fields and verify data quality for HL7 case notification transmissions.
• Automate eCR data reception to generate initial case reports per CDC specifications.
• Support and augment interfaces between ECLRS and CDESS to improve automated ELR data processing.
• Manage release processes, including technical steps to promote, test, and release through development environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Java SE, JDBC, Java Servlets, and JavaScript.
• 7+ years of experience with relational database models and SQL.
• 7+ years of experience using WebLogic application server.
• 7+ years of experience with web services and Java-based service-oriented architecture.
• 7+ years of experience in system design and system specification documentation.
• 7+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks and CVS source code control.
• Proficiency in Spring and SQL.
• Experience with AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
