Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of legacy and modern web applications, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and migration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance classic ASP and ASP.NET web applications.
• Architect and optimize database schemas, including complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Migrate legacy web applications to modern, compatible frameworks.
• Modify existing applications to ensure 504 ADA compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs under tight deadlines.

Required Skills

• 25+ years of software development experience, evolving from legacy platforms to current technologies.
• 20+ years of experience with legacy ASP and ASP.NET web applications.
• 20+ years of experience with SQL Server, database design, schema design, and stored procedures.
• 15+ years of experience with front-end technologies including HTML, TypeScript, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 15+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks and tools.
• 5+ years of experience making web pages ADA 504 compliant.
• 5+ years of experience working with the Texas Education Agency.
• Proficiency in C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server (SSMS), SSRS, SSIS, and Entity Framework.
• Experience building Web APIs using .NET Core and RESTful principles.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ArcGIS software.
