Description

You will own the development and modernization of a core logistics operations management system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor codebases using TDD and pair programming to ensure technical excellence.
• Design and build systems using object-oriented, event-driven, and domain-driven design paradigms.
• Mentor peers within an agile, self-managing team and lead development efforts.
• Collaborate with business analysts and QA to plan, refine, and size user stories.
• Partner with vendor teams to improve engineering practices and technical processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in C#.NET (Framework 4.x or Core/Standard).
• 10+ years of experience in logistics, retail, banking, or insurance industries.
• Experience with enterprise-level ASP.NET MVC5 sites hosted on IIS.
• Expertise in object-oriented and event-driven software design using Domain-Driven Design.
• Proficiency with Git and ORMs, specifically NHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Strong experience using LINQ and SQL Server.
• Practical application of XP practices including TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and Evolutionary System Architecture.
• Technical proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, RabbitMQ, and Azure Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• MAUI or Xamarin mobile development experience.
• Blazor WebAssembly, MassTransit, Specflow, Functional Reactive Programming (Rx), or Telerik UI components.
