Description

You will architect and implement backend services and microservices using Java SE 11, focusing on efficient, maintainable components and modern JVM features. You will design data models using SQL and integrate with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain distributed systems aligned with AWS best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Implement secure, high-availability services with robust error handling, caching, and performance optimizations.
• Integrate databases, message queues, API gateways, and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and drive engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing complex applications with Java SE 11.
• 8+ years of experience with AWS and cloud computing.
• Proven leadership in legacy software rebuilds.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data model and schema design.
• Experience with front-end integration using HTML5, CSS3, and foundational JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
• Zend PHP Certified Engineer.
