Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend web application components for internal systems within a DevOps team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend web application components based on product requirements.
• Build, test, and document APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Lead pull-request reviews, peer code reviews, and design discussions.
• Develop deployment strategies to minimize manual intervention.
• Collaborate with test teams to troubleshoot defects and build automation tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience leading development teams in building web applications.
• Expert knowledge of data structures and algorithms in Python.
• Extensive experience with Python and Flask, including application routing.
• Proficiency with JSON and YAML.
• Proven experience using Git, Jira, and GitHub.
• Strong Linux experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to generate high-quality requirements, design, and test documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with relational or non-relational database design.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing and routing.
• Experience building distributed software systems and implementing test automation.
