Good to Have Skills: Docker, AWS or Azure, legacy modernization experience, CI/CD ownership, NoSQL or multi-value database exposure, AI-assisted development practice, payroll, benefits, or HCM domain knowledge.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own significant features end to end across the stack including Angular, TypeScript, Node.js and Express services.
• Lead code reviews and maintain quality standards for the entire development team.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers as part of regular job responsibilities.
• Partner with product management on requirements before they are finalized for development.
• Collaborate with QA team to ensure test strategy covers all potential risks.
• Write comprehensive technical documentation that remains useful for future reference.
• Work on boundary between modern stack and mature payroll core systems.
• Debug issues across multiple tiers and identify root causes under pressure.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices rather than only consuming them.
• Maintain testing discipline across unit, integration, and functional testing levels.

Experience Required: 6-10 years of hands-on full stack development experience with strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, substantial single-page application work in Angular, solid Node.js and Express experience, testing discipline, strong SQL and data modeling ability, demonstrated code review leadership and mentoring experience
