Description

You will develop and implement high-complexity applications within a mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and conduct systems analysis and design for complex applications.
• Prepare detailed program specifications for design, coding, and configuration.
• Design, code, document, test, and execute implementation of application programs.
• Integrate activities with IT and business personnel to support successful project implementation.
• Report on project status, anticipating and addressing issues that impede goals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with COBOL.
• 5 years of experience with JCL, DB2, CICS, Install1, and RDz.
• Expert technical knowledge in program development within mainframe technology environments.
• Proven ability to lead small development efforts (1-3 resources).
• Extensive knowledge of the systems development life cycle and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Expert in both verbal and written communication of technical concepts.
