Description

You will design, develop, and deploy reporting and analytics solutions for internal and external clients. You own the full lifecycle of Business Objects and Cognos reporting assets, ensuring accurate data delivery and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy reporting solutions using Business Objects Universes, WebI Reports, and related tools.
• Create ad hoc queries and complex reports in Cognos 10.1 Report Studio, including drill-down and cross-tab reports.
• Optimize report performance by manually tuning SQL and utilizing Union/Join objects within the DMR modeled Framework.
• Perform database health checks, generate DDL scripts, and manage schema-level object synchronization using Toad.
• Streamline code reviews using Code Analysis and manage data imports and database comparisons.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or related IT roles.
• Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Business Objects (Universes, WebI) and Cognos 10.1 Report Studio.
• Strong SQL programming skills, including manual tuning and complex query construction.
• Experience with Toad for database management, health checks, and DDL generation.
• Hands-on experience with DMR modeled Frameworks.
• Ability to create list reports, cross-tab reports, and drill-down visualizations.
