Description

You will develop and maintain software applications for internal business needs and external customers, owning operational readiness for Middleware applications hosted in AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Code software applications following established designs and standardize quality assurance procedures.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve functionality or simplify administration.
• Facilitate plans for application changes, defect fixes, and configuration updates.
• Configure and test system changes involving reports, security access, and workflows.
• Mentor team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Expert-level implementation of SOAP and RESTful services.
• Expert proficiency with Core Spring Framework (Spring JMS, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Integration).
• Experience building modern REST Web services and consuming API/web-based services.
• Proficiency with Java RESTful architectures and Middleware.
• Working knowledge of HTTP and TCP/IP.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python and Django.
• Experience with Ruby.
