Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js within a microservices architecture. This role involves collaborating with front-end teams, optimizing non-relational databases, and deploying applications on AWS with Kubernetes. You will also build AI agent projects, including chatbots and integrations with foundational models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend services using Python and Node.js in a microservices environment.
• Develop and optimize non-relational databases such as Postgres, Postgres Vector DB, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Leverage AWS services and Kubernetes to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate server-side logic with user-facing applications.
• Build AI agent projects, including chatbots and integrations using the OpenAI API.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and Node.js ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes for deployment and management.
• Experience working with non-relational databases such as Postgres, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of AI and GenAI, including working with OpenAI API and building chatbots.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postgres Vector DB for AI applications.
