Lead backend architecture and technical direction for a team of three developers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect backend systems to improve performance, structure, and maintainability.
• Maintain current backend services by fixing production bugs and reducing technical debt.
• Guide and mentor a team of three backend developers.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to build and integrate new features.
• Document RESTful endpoints, technical processes, and architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall software development experience.
• 6+ years of backend development using JavaScript.
• 4+ years of experience with Node.js.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL or MySQL development.
• 4+ years of experience building REST APIs.
• 4+ years of experience in backend application architecture and design.
• Any graduate degree.
