Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js within a microservices architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize non-relational databases such as Postgres, Postgres Vector DB, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications using AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Develop AI agent projects, including chatbots and integrations with foundational models via the OpenAI API.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate server-side logic with user-facing applications.
• Design RESTful APIs following microservices best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and Node.js ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services for deployment and management.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of AI and GenAI, including working with the OpenAI API.
• Ability to build chatbots and integrate foundational models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postgres Vector DB for AI data storage.
