Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer (Adobe Experience Manager – AEM) with deep expertise in designing, developing, administering, and supporting enterprise‑scale AEM solutions. The successful consultant will bring 8+ years of hands‑on AEM experience and demonstrate the ability to take ownership of complex, end‑to‑end deliveries across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This engagement involves close collaboration with technical teams, UX resources, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑quality digital solutions within a large, regulated public‑sector environment.

Scope

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade AEM solutions using industry best practices

Deliver reusable, scalable components and templates aligned with enterprise architecture standards

Support full SDLC activities from requirements through release and knowledge transfer

Ensure performance, security, governance, and documentation standards are consistently met.

Assignment Deliverables

Design and deliver enterprise‑grade AEM components, templates, and workflows following established architecture and coding standards

Develop and maintain custom OSGi services, servlets, and event handlers, including configuration and logging

Configure and optimize Dispatcher and Apache for performance, caching, and security

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution design, configuration details, and deployment artefacts.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

8+ years hands‑on experience designing and building scalable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions

8+ years’ experience developing custom AEM components and templates using enterprise‑grade design patterns

8+ years’ experience developing and configuring OSGi services with dependency injection

Proven ownership of the full SDLC, including requirements, development, debugging/testing, documentation, and release.

Nice to Have:

Experience integrating AEM with analytics or digital experience platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics)

Prior experience working in a public‑sector or highly regulated environment.
