Senior Software Developer

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of modern, scalable digital applications in an Agile delivery environment.

The successful consultant will contribute across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, secure, and user‑centric solutions that align with technical standards and business objectives.

Scope

Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications

Developing front‑end and back‑end components using modern frameworks and architectures

Building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices

Collaborating with architects, product owners, DevOps, and QA teams.

Assignment Deliverables

Design, develop, test, and maintain front‑end and back‑end application components using modern frameworks and architectures

Working, tested code aligned with approved technical specifications and design standards

RESTful API integrations and microservice‑based components where required

Unit test cases and test results to support quality assurance and deployment readiness.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, task boards)

Strong experience with React and related front‑end frameworks

Experience building, testing, and consuming RESTful APIs

Working knowledge of Jamstack architecture

Expert‑level knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and CSS frameworks

Working knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of AODA accessibility standards and inclusive digital design

Experience with Jamstack‑based solutions and static site generators

Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure coding standards.
