Description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support the Enterprise Data Collection Platform (EDCP). This role is critical to sustaining a high‑volume, sprint‑based delivery roadmap that spans multiple concurrent modules, releases, and dependencies. The Senior Software Developer will act as a subject‑matter expert, providing hands‑on technical leadership, solution design, and active development across multiple EDCP instances. The role supports continuous delivery, platform stability, and long‑term sustainability while adhering to Public Sector standards, security, and accessibility requirements.

Scope

Support the design, development, and enhancement of the Enterprise Data Collection Platform (EDCP)

Provide hands‑on technical leadership across multiple concurrent sprint initiatives

Collaborate with Development, Business Analysis, UX, and QA teams throughout the SDLC

Contribute to user‑centred design, solution architecture, and platform sustainability.

Assignment Deliverables

Enterprise‑grade .NET application components delivered through sprint cycles

Secure, scalable, and well‑documented application and database solutions

Optimized SQL Server database objects (queries, stored procedures, views, functions)

API enhancements and integration solutions aligned with platform standards.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Proven expertise in .NET design and development across all application tiers

Strong experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Demonstrated experience in relational database design

Fluency in advanced SQL development, including performance optimization

Ability to translate technical requirements into working, tested solutions.

Nice to Have:

UI/UX or wireframing experience for user‑centred applications

Experience providing post‑implementation and production support

Knowledge of AODA / accessibility standards.
