Senior Software Developer

Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to lead and support the design, development, and enhancement of complex web‑based and enterprise applications. The successful consultant will bring deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, full‑stack development, and GIS‑enabled solutions, contributing across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a structured, enterprise environment.

Scope

Translate technical system specifications and business requirements into working, fully tested applications

Lead and contribute to technical design and solution architecture discussions for web‑based and reporting applications

Design, develop, test, debug, and document application components using Microsoft web and service‑oriented technologies

Develop and maintain data‑driven applications and multi‑threaded services.

Assignment Deliverables

High‑quality, maintainable application code and reusable components

Technical design artefacts and system documentation

Unit, integration, and system test results

Support for deployment, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

.NET Programmer/Developer must have a minimum of 10+ years of the following

Experience leading design and solution architect discussions for web-based and/or reporting applications

Experience developing, testing, and debugging code for enhancements to systems using Microsoft ASP.NET Web API, Microsoft ASP.NET, AngularJS (with application experience with AngularJS 2.0), Entity Framework, LINQ, Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, NPM, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, .NET Framework and .NET.

Experience developing multi-threaded services using .NET and C#

Must have working Experience Experince with ESRI ArcGIS, Google Maps, or other geographic information systems with a strong preference for using ArcGIS JavaScript API

Nice to Have:

Experience with middleware and API gateways

Familiarity with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies

Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
