Description

Lead the design and implementation of large-scale WordPress solutions within enterprise environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions and custom WordPress themes and plugins aligned with business requirements.
• Develop code following architectural governance, design patterns, and industry security standards.
• Manage WordPress deployments within the Azure cloud stack, including App Services, Database Service, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews and unit testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and manage technical risks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technical consulting or large-scale I&IT transformation projects.
• Expertise in WordPress architecture, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with MySQL and database interaction within WordPress.
• Hands-on experience with REST API integration for third-party services.
• Practical knowledge of Azure cloud services, including App Services and Cloud Security.
• Ability to implement CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
• Proven experience in performance optimization, including caching and code efficiency.
• Understanding of securing WordPress installations against vulnerabilities and AODA standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing comprehensive user and system documentation.
