Description

Lead the development, migration, and maintenance of provincial financial planning systems within the Azure cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software modules for financial planning and business performance management systems.
• Identify gaps in existing Fiscal IQ systems and design remediation plans for legacy code.
• Research and execute solutions for migrating systems to Azure Cloud PaaS.
• Support Fiscal IQ instances, managing data migration for the PBF project.
• Provide maintenance, operational warranty, documentation, and knowledge transfer to OPS FTEs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing complex financial planning and budgeting systems.
• Expertise in .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, C#, and VB.Net.
• Hands-on experience with DevExpress components.
• Advanced relational database design and development using MS SQL Server.
• Experience configuring MS IIS and .NET environments.
• Proficiency with Azure Boards and Azure DevOps for requirements and design specifications.
• Experience developing user authentication via MS Active Directory.
• Skill in building enterprise automation via CI/CD pipelines and tool chains.
• Experience with RESTful web services, JSON, and XML.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Public Sector governance methodologies such as UPM and architecture gating.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 or AODA standards.
