Description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with extensive expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, enterprise application development, solution architecture, database development, system integration, data migration, and Web APIs.

The successful consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to develop, maintain, enhance, and modernize enterprise applications. The role will involve application development, database design, testing, documentation, system integration, data migration, troubleshooting, and solution architecture.

The consultant will also support the development of conceptual, logical, and physical architecture artifacts and contribute to enterprise-level reporting, analytics, data integration, and application modernization initiatives.

Scope

Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to develop and validate application enhancements based on business requirements.

Maintain and enhance existing enterprise applications and resolve defects in a timely manner.

Design and develop secure, scalable solutions using C#, .NET/.NET Core, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, XML/XSLT, and related Microsoft technologies.

Develop and consume Web Services and Web APIs within service-oriented architectures.

Assignment Deliverables

Development and enhancement of enterprise applications using.NET Core, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET/MVC, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Conceptual, logical, and physical architecture artifacts aligned with applicable enterprise architecture standards and patterns.

Secure and scalable Web Services, Web APIs, interfaces, and integration components.

Data pipelines and reporting services supporting enterprise reporting and executive decision-making.

Enhanced dashboard functionality supporting operational metrics, workload analytics, performance indicators, and executive reporting.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

10+ years of experience with programming and developing in .NET Core. Experience with coding and implementing applications using, C#, .Net, VB.NET, ASP. Net, MVC, Identity C #, JavaScript, jQuery and XML/XLST. Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft SQL environment

Experience building applications using MS .NET elements such as Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Presentation Framework, MS Sync Framework, Web Client Software Factory, MS Web Services and Entity Framework. Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Dev Ops, DevExpress, Cloud development and Enterprise Library

Experience in Service oriented architecture, object-oriented design, user interface development. Design, develop and consume Web Services and Web API. Working with Use Cases, Class diagrams, component diagrams, state diagrams etc. Experience with Data Migration. Strong communication skills and team player. Experience coding and implementing SQL procedures, scripts, T-SQL and Object definitions for SQL Server. Experience with Oracle RDMS and Web Servers. Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies. Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using SQL (Stored procedures, triggers, functions). Experience with one or more communications protocols. Experience with middleware and gateway.

Nice to Have:

Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps.

Additional hands-on development experience with C# and DevExpress.

Experience with enterprise data migration and legacy system consolidation
