Description

Senior Software Developer responsible for maintaining and modernizing the OHFS platform using Java and Azure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development life cycle, from system analysis and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Identify gaps in existing Java WebSphere systems and execute remediation plans for enhancements and bug fixes.
• Conduct R&D to create proof of concepts and roadmaps for migrating legacy applications to Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
• Design and maintain system design models, technical documentation, and specifications.
• Provide operational support, including configuring IBM HTTP Server and WebSphere Server in clustered formations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java 1.8, JEE 8, and WebSphere 9.x.x.
• Hands-on experience developing scalable cloud-based solutions using Microservices, API Management, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud applications, including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in JavaScript, Node.js, JSON, and REST API development.
• Experience with relational database technologies, specifically SQL Server Database and SQL proficiency.
• Knowledge of application accessibility compliance (AODA).
• Familiarity with IBM HTTP Server, JavaServer Faces, Servlets, LDAP, and Regular Expressions.
