Description

Lead technical strategy and engineering execution for a major transformation program using AWS serverless architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Mentor engineering teams on solutions and professional growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and timelines.
• Conduct code and architectural reviews to maintain codebase quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and mitigate risks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in designing and deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions.
• Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, and API design.
• Experience building event-driven architectures and RESTful microservices.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) and Pub/Sub integration patterns.
• Experience with CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray for monitoring and debugging.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Ability to perform requirement analysis and communicate effectively with clients.
