Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own adding capabilities as we unlock more features on Kindle E-reader family
• Design and develop critical components in E-reader that make the product performant, secure and power optimized
• Collaborate with experienced team members to design and bring innovative components in E-reader
• Architect and design secure software that protects customer data stored on the devices
• Ship and review code for reading features on Kindle E-Reader and Kindle Apps on mobile platforms
• Collaborate with peers, product owners, UX designers and partner tech teams on architecture and design
• Adapt the customer experience for next generation Kindle E-Reader devices focusing on operational excellence
• Root cause issues and propose solutions for software problems
• Train new team members on E-Reader and Kindle Application software construction and operations
• Monitor team's code deployment pipelines and dashboards for optimal performance

Experience Required: Senior level experience in software development with expertise in building high quality software that serves millions of customers. Experience working with multiple technical teams and tackling problems across software, hardware, networks and distributed systems
