Good to Have Skills: Experience with Kindle E-reader development, hardware-software integration, network programming, automation, security implementation for consumer devices, iOS/Android development, UX design collaboration, operational excellence practices, monitoring and deployment pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop critical components in E-reader that make the product performant, secure and power optimized.
• Own adding capabilities as we unlock more features on Kindle E-reader family.
• Collaborate with experienced Amazonians to design and bring innovative components in E-reader.
• Architect and design secure software that protects customer data stored on the devices.
• Ship and review C++, ReactNative or Java for reading features on Kindle E-Reader and Kindle Apps.
• Collaborate with peers, product owners, UX designers and partner tech teams on architecture and design.
• Adapt customer experience for next generation Kindle E-Reader devices focusing on operational excellence.
• Monitor team's code deployment pipelines and dashboards for optimal performance.
• Root cause issues and propose effective solutions for technical challenges.
• Train new team members on E-Reader and Kindle Application software construction and operations.

Experience Required: Senior level experience in software development with expertise in C/C++ programming and full-stack development capabilities
